LOBBY & COMMON AREA.

When entering, you are greeted with a vast open space that contains the lobby, bar, and restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, and early evening the area is busy, and the bar is a great spot to have a drink in before heading out in the night. I had the signature whisky cocktail, which showcased the bar staff excellent skills. The common area is also great to check your email and do at bit of work if that is needed. I personally enjoyed my room and got some work done there.

DESIGN.

The Nordic Light hotel has the gone through a rather big revamp of its interior recently, and it is now in full bloom and looking new and fresh. As the name of the hotel suggest "the Nordic" is the main focus here. To make this happen, they had had an extensive collaboration with head architect Todd Saunders, overall chief of design John Tong and 10 carefully selected Nordic designers. The result is rather beautiful if you ask me.

The hotels have exquisitely crafted furniture in wood and delicate textiles. The rooms are light and bright, and the sheer curtains give the room a soft light in the morning.

BREAKFAST.

Fresh, good, and above average, but not exceptionally. Big selection of bread, egg, bacon and yoghurt. My two favourite things was the American pancakes and the strawberry smoothie.
